Continuing in DancEast’s rich tradition of excellence in training, our Summer Dance program is no exception! Offering a range of instruction for dancers of all ages and all technique levels, DancEast’s Summer Dance is a perfect fusion of fun, creativity, hard work and lasting friendships.

Technique classes in Ballet, Hip Hop Jazz, Lyrical, Acro and Tap are taught by both resident and guest teachers and features artists from DancEast’s own “Coming Home” Series – a mentorship program, comprised of DancEast alumni, who are working professionals in the dance community, who return to instruct, create, network and to pass on their knowledge, to young up-and-coming dancers.

Premiere Dance

July 4th – July 8th

and/or

July 11th – July 15th

Half-Day options available for dancers aged 4-6 years old.

Full-Day options for dancers aged 5 years old and up.

This camp offers instruction in Ballet, Hip Hop Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Choreography and Arts and Crafts.

A free performance for friends and family will conclude the camp on the final Friday of each camp week. Participation, at this camp, is mandatory for dancers interested in performing in “Clara’s Dream – A Nutcracker Story” November 2022.

Camp hours are: 9:00-1:00 for Half-Day option / 9:00-5:00 for Full-Day option

Cost of the camp is: $200 + HST for the Half-Day option / $350.00 + HST for Full-Day option

SummerDance 1

July 18th – July 29th

A full-day, two week long, intensive camp for dancers in the Pre-Professional PV level or equivalent.

This camp offers intensive instruction in Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap and Choreography. This camp is mandatory for dancers currently enrolled in the PV program, or who are wishing to enter the Pre-Professional stream (PV) in the Fall.

Admission to this camp is upon faculty approval.

SummerDance 2

August 2nd – August 19th

A full-day, three week long, intensive camp for dancers in the Pre-Professional Company level or equivalent.

This camp offers intensive instruction in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap and Choreography. This camp is mandatory for dancers currently enrolled in the Aspirant and Company level, or who are wishing to enter the Pre-Professional stream in the Fall.

Admission to this camp is upon faculty approval.
